With all the new uniforms, the Houston Texans have become the first NFL team to use the brand of Houston Cougar apparel.
This year’s uniforms are the first time the team has worn a black color, and the black uniforms feature a black collar and a black headband.
This isn’t the first color change for the Houston team, as they wore a black helmet on the road in the 2015 season opener against the Arizona Cardinals.
In a way, the uniforms are a little bit of a throwback to the Houston Rockets, who wore a white headband in the 2003-04 season.
The Houston Texans wear black jerseys in a nod to the Rockets logo, which is a nod not only to the city of Houston, but to the original Rockets logo.
It’s a nod that will continue to resonate for years to come.
The Texans will wear the new black uniforms for the first two games of the season, including Thursday night’s home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
This marks the first season the team will wear black uniforms.
The team is expected to unveil its uniforms in time for the 2017 season.
